A registry is your library of goodies in your computer. It contains everything that is needed to run and operate your PC. Without this, you will not even be able to boot your computer.
The registry though is not without its limitations. For one, it has a specific space allotted to it. Thus, when you have too much files in the registry, it will take longer for your computer to start up, upload, download, and shut down.
If you have to wait what seems like forever to boot your PC, or you have to stand impatiently over your PC waiting for it to close, then your problem is your registry.
Finding a registry fix boils down to 3 choices: you can manually try to delete the files in the registry that you think you do not need; you can bring it to a computer shop to have them fix the registry for you; or you can buy a registry cleaner.
Choice 1 - This isn't such a good idea because unless you are an A1 computer technician familiar with undecipherable file names, you are taking a big chance on deleting something important. This means reformatting the entire hard drive.
Choice 2 - Expensive and the expense is constant because files will keep adding up, and then after 6 months or a year, you will have to bring it back for another repair. Furthermore, they will keep your computer for about 2 weeks in the shop.
Choice 3 - Spend $30 and buy your own personal registry cleaner which you can use as often as you want for a very long time.
