be using Toshiba laptops for many, many years to come. From my experience with various laptop brands (including HP, Apple and Asus models), Toshiba laptops have the most reliable and durable. I don't remember the last time I ever needed to send one back to the factory for servicing or repair.
I often use my laptop for surfing the net, word processing, watching videos and other moderate computing tasks. For that reason, I got the Toshiba Satellite L515-S4925, which is an excellent full-featured mainstream model. It has a 2Ghz dual-core processor, 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. It comes with the 64-bit version of Windows Vista. So far it has been running very well and is quite speedy. I suspect that it will run even faster with the Windows 7 OS.
Connectivity wise, the Toshiba Satellite L515-S4925 has 3 USB ports, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a memory card reader. It has a 14-inch wide-screen display with a 1366 x 768 resolution. This makes it ideal for watching 720p HD movies. As for its design, this model has a dark gray/black external casing. The keyboard and touch pad area is silver in color. The surface of the laptop is decorated by a pattern of faint lines. Overall, it has a stylish and professional look to it. Most importantly, it has a very reasonable price tag, retailing at just around $542 each. It is an excellent buy considering its specs and performance. All in all, if you are planning to buy a solid full-featured laptop, the Toshiba Satellite L515-S4925 will prove to be an excellent choice!
